Spreadex Broker Review

Introduction

Spreadex has been trading successfully since 2000. The company has its headquarters in state-of-the-art trading rooms in St Albans, Hertfordshire. The business was founded by former City dealer Jonathan Hufford, who decided to set up his own company with the intention of making spread betting more accessible.

Spreadex was listed in the Sunday Times Price Water house Coopers Profit Track 100 – which names the UK’s top 100 most profitable companies – for three years in succession.

SpreadEx is unique in the fact that it offers something totally different to other financial spread betting providers out there – a dual financial and sports betting platform. Launched in 1999, Spreadex has since extended its product offerings to include fixed odds sports betting and casino betting while at the same time being concentrating on its financial spread betting opportunities.

Supporting Tools & Services Offered by Spreadex

Along with the standard trading platform, Spreadex offer additional trading tools and education. The items that Spreadex off can be seen in the list below.

  • Advanced Charting Package
  • Market Analysis
  • Economic Calendar
  • Video Training Centre
  • Economic Indicators

The free and comprehensive additional tools and services offered by Spreadex are very good but maybe not quite as comprehensive as those offered by some other brokers.

Summary : A fair choice of spread betting broker if you wish to deal in AIM shares but don’t take their credit facilities as they have very aggressive lawyers if you end owing them money. If you are into sports bets that is a plus as they also offer sports betting. The more technical trader may want a dedicated platform. Well worth a look.
